you will always hit a limit factor on gpu's sli, VOP ,therm ,Vrel ect You hit the limit of the card if you BIOS mod you can get more out of it. So what gives? Is 2000MHz the end of the road for me? I can understand this as it's technically pretty high already and I only get one 8-pin to play with, but I'd just like to confirm. Increased clock speed by 100Mhz just to see what would happen and I was hitting power and voltage limits like crazy. Increased voltage with the little slider to 100%, and saw hardly any improvement. I increased the clock speed by 50Mhz and now voltage limit was reached. I increased the power to the cap of 112% and ran the benchmark again. However, when I ended the benchmark and looked at my graphs, I noticed the power limit had been hit twice even though they held 2000Mhz throughout the test. Heaven allowed me to reach and hold this frequency no problem, no artifacts, insanely high frame rates. Now the SC cards come with a stock OC of 2000MHz boost clock. I used Heaven Benchmark and EVGA Precision X to run a quick test to see where I stood at stock settings. Hi everyone, just attempted to overclock my two EVGA GTX1070 SC's.
